Stopping Obnoxious MSN / Windows Live Messenger Spammers


I really hate it when these spammers messages pops up while I’m chatting or I have just opened up my messenger suddenly a message or add request come from unknown personals which is basically a spam .And as we all know spam`s are very

dangerous for our computer and we to avoid them no matter what happens .This article is related to the stopping of such obnoxious MSN/Windows live Messenger Spammers. And after reading this article you will surely be able to get rid of such spammers.
The first time you receive a spammer message you will be prompted with an option to block messages from unknown senders, which is exactly what you want to do.

The problem is that if you don’t choose this option the first time, you won’t get the same option again. So it’s better to choose this option in the first place. As won`t be there for the 2nd time. Normally, when you choose this option you will be prompted with a message that choosing this option will block messages from all the persons that are not present on your friends list. So that`s what you really want if you ask me.

If by any chance you have chosen allowance of it .You need not to worry as you can still block those unknown individuals. What you have to do is:
Go to options panel and mark the option “Only people on my Allow List can see my status and send me messages”.

By doing this you can setup your allowing and blocking list of all the persons you want. If you are using Pidgin to access your Windows Live / MSN Messenger / Hotmail / Whatever MS re-named it as today account, you can go to Tools Privacy. Then choose the account in the “Set privacy for” drop-down, and choose “Allow only the users on my buddy list” in the lower drop-down.
By following the above steps you can surely stop all those ridiculous spammers.
