Everyone has a personal, unique and divine destiny. I dedicated an entire chapter of my book, The Power of Transformation to Divine Destiny or purpose; because I believe it is essential for every individual to be fulfilled in his or her work. If you are using your gifts and talents to serve and you enjoy what you do, then you are most likely working on purpose.
On the other hand if you are unhappy with your work, if you have a difficult time preparing for work, if you dread getting up on a Monday morning or other days of the week to get out of the house and go to work, then you may need to reconsider what it is that you should be really doing at this time.
Earl Nightingale said, We are at our very best, and we are happiest, when we are fully engaged in work we enjoy on the journey toward the goal we’ve established for ourselves. It gives meaning to our time off and comfort to our sleep. It makes everything else in life so wonderful, so worthwhile.
You could consider a Home Based Business. This would allow you more flexibility, time freedom, and tax advantage among other benefits.
Steven E. of Wake Up Live The Life you Love in his December Newsletter wrote: Share Your Purpose and Your Gifts
He wrote: We all have a purpose in life. You have a unique talent and personality that nobody else has. Think of something you love to do and figure out how to make a living doing it. When your life is in working order, your whole existence is much easier and enjoyable.
If you are currently in a job you don’t like, take time to work on the things you enjoy and set a timetable for making a change. Be patient with yourself.
If you don’t know what your purpose is, sit quietly and go within; ask for the answer, because all answers are within you.
Think of the things you like to do that brighten your day and make you smile—things you would do without payment; things you would do for enjoyment alone. Finding your purpose in life is recognizing that you can start being “on purpose” in this moment, because being “on purpose” is about unconditionally loving and serving others. Start now by following your interest, even if you know that your career or life situation will have to change.
I am urging you to do it; don’t give up on your vision. We only live once, so do what you love. Find your purpose in life and work with a smile. You have a gift to share with the world; don’t be selfish. Share your purpose and your gifts. The world deserves it and so do you.
Focus your thoughts and intentions on loving and serving others. Learn to make giving more important than receiving because giving is in alignment with your purpose. No one has to tell you when you are “on purpose.” When you find your passion in life and move forward with an unstoppable drive, you no longer question the meaning of life. Everything you do is synchronized with your higher self. You fulfill people and feel fulfilled from your actions.
When we are born into this world, we arrive empty-handed. We can’t take any material items with us when we go, either. The message of life is to give. Learn to give unconditionally and live a life that you love.
Consider the words of encouragement you have just read coupled with this promise: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:11-13).
Surrender to this plan, His process, be patient and live life to the fullest in 2009
